Artists - Glisten
Formed in 1994, Glisten saturated the Dallas/Fort Worth scene for three years, eventually recording a professional demo produced by Steve Hindalong (The Choir). The demo caught the attention of Terry Taylor (Daniel Amos, Lost Dogs, etc.), who was then an A&R rep for KMG records. Taylor liked what he heard, and with his help Glisten signed a contract with the label. With Hindalong again to produce, the band went to Nashville and recorded their lush, moody yet rock-powered CD, Starlight Wishlist; the album was a fine representation of the band's musical focus and spiritual stance. The CD was nationally released on April 20, 1999. In January 2000, the contract with KMG records was dissolved, making Glisten "indie" once again. The band continues to write and perform regularly, working as hard as ever before and staying true to their vision.
